Hello Everyone. Just wanted to provide a quick update on the No Reservations: Philippines episode. In my last update, I said that episode would air on the Travel Channel on February 9, but I've just been informed that that has changed. On February 9, a No Reservations: Food Porn episode will air instead (mmmmm, food porn).
No Reservations: Philippines is scheduled to air on the Travel Channel here in the U.S. on Monday, February 16 at 10pm ET. And yup, you guessed it, that time and date is subject to change. I'll keep everyone updated as the date gets closer.
In the meantime, enjoy a sneak peak of this Monday's episode of Tony in the Azores:
if you have HDTV you can view NR on Ch. 452(Time Warner Cable) at 8:00 and then a repeat at 9:00 i just discovered it 2 weeks ago( hubs showed it to me) usually i just record everything bec. i always fall asleep before its over

Thanks for the update on the No Reservations episode in the Philippines. I can't wait to watch it. :)

Thanks, Marvin. Unfortunately, No Reservations isn't aired on Skycable. It's on Destiny Cable though, which means I have to catch the show in my Las Piñas home where I am subscribed to Destiny. If I try to record the show, I'm sure to botch it, so I hope somebody more tech-savvy can tape/digitize this episode for all the MM/Claude Tayag/Bourdain fans in the Philippines.

I've been loving this season! Heck, I love it all. I can't wait to see him in the Philippines.

Thanks for the tips, alilay.
I have more coming pleasurepalate. Stay tuned...
Hi Socky! If you do end up missing the show, I think Travel Channel eventually puts everything on DVD, but you'll probably have to wait a while for that.
Thanks Julie. I'm on the edge of my seat too.
I was thinking the same thing, Jude;)
Thanks Rasa Malaysia.

I didn't like his Washington DC show that much. I thought he spent too much time with the ex-CIA guy and didn't show anything new. The Azores is very good though and I can't wait for the Philippines show.

I agree with you, oggi. DC has been my least favorite ep so far.
Thanks so much for the link, Alisa.

Hello. I only recently saw this episode and was disappointed. I think Burnt Lumpia should host him on his second trip. (I felt sorry for the seemingly un-knowledgeable, shy Fil Am guy they chose, whose Phil. family seemed to not like him on the show.) I mean come on, Bourdain didn't even show the wonder of the world rice terraces or many of the gorgeous beaches, traditional healers, Ifugao ritual pig slaughter/feast, trad music, etc. make Bourdain do the stick dance! I think we need a do over on this one people, and someone who shines to represent the Fil Ams!
