only 6-7 garlic cloves? :) i have a similar recipe and i use 10+ cloves, depending on how garlicky i want it to be. i should try your kicked up version - i notice you use thai bird chile! nice!

I love eating gambas al ajillo with some pasta. The garlic is so flavorful. I don't use ketchup or paprika, just olive oil, red pepper flakes, garlic, and shrimp. Yum!
